Delta Waterfowl and the NRA both did jump in and supported local hunters rights to squash it as there was never any accidents on the lake due to hunting and conservation confirmed that. So, long story short, any support in funds or dinners my brother and hunting buddies attend with me are now only for Delta Waterfowl and never again for DU.

I'm actually a member of delta waterfowl, and my father is a ducks unlimited guy. The way i see it, ducks unlimited is political, they try to get into the government and create laws and bills and funding to prevent the loss of waterfowl habitat. Delta waterfowl is more for preserving the waterfowl and waterfowl hunting.

You buy the Delta wading jacket and wear it OUTSIDE your 'chesties. Layer-up with more Sitka, or wool... or whatever and as much as required for comfort. Duck Oven is special-made to wear under chest waders-- no insulation at the bottom 1/3. Sitka has gone with a more 'athletic fit' recently-- I'd order-up one size from your 'normal' sizing.
Personally I like the Delta Wading jacket. It has no insulation, but I can wear it from teal season all the way through late season with just changing the layering underneath. T-shirt plus Delta in teal season, and base layer + + vest + Dakota hoody + Delta if temps drop below about 10f.
